What is the role of the Polytron oil additive

A. Polytron oil additive allows the metal surfaces to work on top of each other to gradually smooth over each other. Within certain limits, smoother metal surfaces mean less friction and therefore less wear.

B. Polytron begins to fulfill its role by increasing the "slip" between surfaces. In fact, Polytron helps the host oil maintain as much hydrodynamic fluid film as possible between these smoother metal surfaces. Under heating conditions, Polytron is an extremely durable hydrocarbon that is resistant to film shear and vaporization.

C. Polytron oil additive contains certain dispersants whose main functions are to help the metal treatment process by cleaning your engine or other mechanisms. Polytron oil additive separates contaminants (carbon, sludge, varnishes, etc.) from the oil, removes them from the surfaces to which they have adhered, and suspends them in the engine oil. When changing the oil, remove the sludge that "reduces" the efficiency of the engine.

D. Our product contains oxidation inhibitors, which help maintain acid-free lubricants. Because lubricants they are subjected to shearing oil, pressure and heat, in the presence of oxygen, moisture and derived chemicals, acids begin to form, which then leads to corrosive action on metal parts.

It is important to note that oxidized oil is a weak lubricant and can actually increase the internal friction of the mechanism.
